There will be two Special Meetings of Council in May to discuss the Dysart et al Strategic Plan. The first will take place on Tuesday, May 3rd at 1:00 PM and the second will take place on Tuesday, May 17th at noon.

Fee By-Law Amendment 

Dysart et al Council, at their May 24, 2022 meeting, will be considering changes to By-Law 2022-33, being a by-law to impose fees and charges.

A fee structure is being proposed to address recommendations through the County of Haliburton Service Delivery Review process. The proposed fee by-law includes several updates, including a tiered fee structure to recognize and apply separate fees for major versus minor development applications.

The tiered fee structure applies to zoning by-law amendments, official plan amendments, site plan agreements and minor variance applications. Click here to read the staff report outlining these proposed changes.
