Seasonal Load Restrictions start March 10, 2025

Most of Dysart's roads are subject to "reduced load periods" during the spring thaw when roads are weakest and most susceptible to heavy truck damage. Reduced load periods reduce the allowable weight of a vehicle to 5,000kg per axle while roads are posted.

Exemptions to the reduced load period include:

Municipal vehicles engaged in highway maintenance

Fire apparatus

Vehicles used for transporting waste on behalf of a municipality

Public utility emergency vehicles
