Experience Fun in February in Dysart et al!

Winter in the Municipality of Dysart et al is filled with snow and ice, and bright sunny days. This February, you're invited to celebrate Fun in February in Dysart et al -- pick up your passport to track activities and be entered to win valuable prizes from local partners. Passport books will be available for pick up on January 20, 2025.

Passport books can be picked up at:

The Haliburton Welcome Centre - 7 York Street between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm daily

The Dysart Municipal Offices - 135 Maple Avenue, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

The Haliburton Highlands Museum - 66 Museum Road, call 705-457-2760 for hours

The Dysart Branch of Haliburton County Public Library - 78 Maple Avenue

 How it works:
  1. Pick up your passport book.
  2. Look through the passport and see which activities you would like to participate in.
  3. For each activity you will either be required to get a stamp or send in a photo of yourself doing the activity.
  4. Activities do not have to be completed in any particular order.
  5. Contest runs from February 1 - 28, 2025.
  6. Entries must be received no later than 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Draws will take place on Monday, March 10, 2025.
  7. Winners will be announced online and contacted by phone.
  8. Email your photos to: recreation@dysartetal.ca. Include your name, phone number, date and activity number in your email.
 Prizes

Earn one (1) entry for activity completed. Remember you must submit a photo of yourself doing the activity to earn the entry. If you complete all the activities, you can earn thirty (30) entries.


Prizes - 5 chances to win

  • $250 gift certificate towards an experience of your choice in Dysart et al
  • $150 gift certificate towards an experience of your choice in Dysart et al
  • $100 gift certificate to a Dysart et al business of your choice (adult entries only)
  • $100 gift certificate to a Dysart et al business of your choice (kids entries only)
  • $50 gift certificate to a Dysart et al business of your choice
